  28. System Requirements

  30. In order for this CD-ROM to run properly on your PC, it has
  31.  to meet the following hardware requirements: 386/DX or
  32.  compatible, running with 33 MHz or more; 640K conventional
  33.  memory with 580K  free memory (for CD-ROM driver, Microsoft
  34.  CD Extensions Version 2.22 or higher and VESA driver, if 
  35.  necessary), 4MB RAM, SVGA or VGA Monitor and a video 
  36.  adapter card which should be compatible with Super VGA
  37.  BIOS Extensions VESA Standard. A hard disk with 20MB free
  38.  memory, CD-ROM drive with a minimum transfer rate of
  39.  300KB (double speed), Sound Blaster or a compatible sound
  40.  card, mouse, DOS 5.0 or higher, Windows 3.1 or higher,
  41.  256 colour monitor.

  47. KOCH Media Licence Agreement

  49. This Agreement will govern your use of the KOCH Media 
  50.  software products contained in this package. Please read
  51.  the following terms carefully before using the product.

  53. Grant of licence. KOCH Media Ltd., 24 Concord Rd, London 
  54.  W3 0TH (called "KOCH Media" in this Agreement) hereby
  55.  grants you, and you accept, a limited licence subject to
  56.  the terms and conditions contained herein to use the
  57.  software recorded on the enclosed CD-ROM  (called "the 
  58.  Software" in this Agreement). You may only use this
  59.  Software on a single computer, on its temporary
  60.  replacement, or on a subsequent computer. If you wish
  61.  to use the Software on more than one computer, you must
  62.  purchase an additional copy of the Software. The Software
  63.  is "in use" on a computer when it is resident in memory
  64.  (i.e., RAM) or installed on the hard disk (executable
  65.  and other files) or other storage device. You may not
  66.  either temporarily or permanently transfer or sub-licence
  67.  your rights to use the Software under this Agreement
  68.  without the prior written consent of KOCH Media.
  69.  
  70. Use. You acknowledge that the rights to the Software and
  71.  the User Manuals and other related materials are the sole
  72.  and exclusive property of KOCH Media. You may not alter,
  73.  merge, modify or adapt this Software in any way including
  74.  disassembling or decompiling. By accepting this Agreement,
  75.  you do not become the owner of the Software, but you do
  76.  have the licence to use the Software in accordance with
  77.  the Agreement. You agree to use your best efforts and to
  78.  take all reasonable steps to protect the Software from
  79.  unauthorised use, illegal reproduction or illicit
  80.  distribution. You may not loan, rent, lease or licence
  81.  this Software or any copy.

  83. Copyright. All intellectual property rights in the Software
  84.  and user documentation are owned by KOCH Media or its
  85.  suppliers and are protected by United Kingdom copyright
  86.  laws, other applicable copyright laws and international
  87.  treaty provisions. KOCH Media retains all rights not
  88.  expressly granted.

  90. Limited Warranty. KOCH Media warrants that the Software will
  91.  substantially conform to the applicable user documentation.
  92.  Furthermore KOCH Media warrants for a period of ninety (90)
  93.  days from the effective date of this Agreement that, under
  94.  normal use, the material of the CD-ROM and the user
  95.  manual(s) will not prove defective; and that the user
  96.  manual(s) are substantially complete and contain all of the
  97.  information which KOCH Media considers necessary for the
  98.  use of the Software. If during the ninety-day period, a
  99.  defect in the Software should appear, you may return the
  100.  Software to KOCH Media for replacement without charge.
  101.  Your sole right with respect to a defect in the Software
  102.  is replacement of the Software. KOCH Media does not
  103.  warrant, that the contents of this package meets your
  104.  expectations and that the Software runs properly under
  105.  all circumstances.

  107. Except for the limited warranty provided in this paragraph,
  108.  there are no warranties, conditions, or representations
  109.  either express or implied by statute, common law or
  110.  otherwise, and all such warranties, conditions and
  111.  representations are expressly disclaimed.

  113. Limitation Of Liability. You agree that regardless of the
  114.  form of any claim you may have, KOCH Media's liability
  115.  for any damages to you or to any other party shall not
  116.  exceed the amount paid by you for the Software. KOCH
  117.  Media will not be responsible for any direct, indirect,
  118.  special, incidental, cover or consequential damages,
  119.  such as, but not limited to, loss of profits resulting
  120.  from the use of the Software or arising out of any
  121.  breach of the warranty, even if KOCH Media has been
  122.  advised of the possibility of such damage.

  124. Termination of the Agreement. If any terms and conditions
  125.  of the Agreement are broken, KOCH Media has the right
  126.  immediately to terminate in writing the Agreement and
  127.  demand that you return the Software to KOCH Media. At
  128.  that time, you must also certify in writing that you
  129.  have not retained any copies of the Software.

  131. Governing Law. This Agreement is to be governed by and
  132.  interpreted in accordance with the Laws of England.
  133.  Any terms or conditions of this Agreement found to
  134.  be unenforcable will be deleted, but will not affect
  135.  the remaining terms and conditions of this Agreement.

  137. PLEASE NOTE: In order to receive technical support and
  138.  notification of product upgrading and enhancements,
  139.  please complete and return the accompanying
  140.  registration card.
